Protect Your Wallet

Unlike ordinary bank accounts or physical wallets, the crypto wallet includes three main components for protecting the funds and information inside.

  • Public key: This is similar to the bank account number. You can share this key with anyone who wants to transact.

  • Private key: This is a secret key that must be protected. Anyone with this private key can fully control everything inside a wallet.

  • Seed phrases: This collection of 12 secret words must be protected. Anyone with secret phrases can fully control everything inside a wallet.
